Gus Brothers Construction (GBC) was recognized as a Certified Environmentally Responsible Contractor (CERC) on October 30, 2024. This certification is awarded to contractors who proactively mitigate environmental risks through proper training and back their work with proper insurance. CERCs are leading the construction industry with properly trained employees, which enhances their reputation with clients and the communities they work in, outshining their competition.
GBC offers comprehensive building services, combining the technical know-how and innovative creative spirit of its founder, Dave "Gus" Gustafson, along with a group of reliable collaborators in architecture, interior decor, and suppliers of fixtures and furnishings.

Services
Serving the Phoenix area, GBC specializes in boutique construction ranging from interior and exterior makeovers, expansions and custom home builds. Each project goes through the following process:
- Contact & Consultation
A meeting with the President and proprietor of GBC to directly go over building concepts, requirements, desires, and aspirations to create a plan for the project. GBC will put together a thorough budget and proposal, with a full explanation of all questions.
- Pre-Construction
GBC follows a three-step approach before construction begins.
DOCUMENTS: Creating all the necessary design and building documents needed with a professional designer or architect.
PRODUCTS: A meeting with a professional interior designer from its business partners to select products that will achieve the look and overall design the client desires.
SCHEDULE: The GBC construction crew creates a timeline for the project execution.
- Construction
The project is supervised daily by one of GBC’s skilled field superintendents. An onsite check-in on the progress of the work, the work's scope, and how it's being carried out is shared with the client.
- Completion & Warranty
After the project is finished, GBC does a full inspection with the client and provides a detailed report of all the products and materials used and their warranties. GBC offers a 2-10 Home Buyer warranty in addition to its regular warranty, which is explained at the end of the project.
