Established in 1999, the company specializes in concrete sawing/drilling, firestop, and thermal/moisture protection services. G&M Service’s priority is safety, which they have maintained as members of The National Safety Council, and now through becoming a Certified Environmentally Responsible Contractor (CERC).
G&M Services handles a number of projects. At one particular project, the team was tasked with controlling silica dust for Metro Mechanical in DC.
The G&M Services team used a chainsaw to create openings on the roof for duct work. They then utilized a wet method, which contained and transported the slurry off site.
The team was able to take the slurry off site by squeegeeing the concrete down into a drum via a poly funnel.
