CERC is a business and marketing opportunity to show your clients you are a better choice than your competition. A choice that protects them from costly pollution incidents on jobsites. The certification includes a contractor marketing kit, providing tips to help you promote your company as a better choice, your company name on the CERC website, entrance into the CERC community where you will be promoted as a cut above, and periodic communications from Environmental Risk Professionals with updates including safety and marketing tips, environmental news and CERC success stories.

As a CERC certified contractor, we are committed to incorporating Pollution Prevention Practices into our day-to-day operations. This can be accomplished by any of the following:
- Discussing at tailgate safety meetings throughout the year.
- Requiring employees to read and acknowledge they understand the information on their own.
- Incorporating into existing safety training
In addition, your CERC certificate includes the policy number and expiration date of your pollution liability insurance policy. Maintaining this policy through its expiration date is required to remain certified.
